Does anyone know of a Northeast Ohio metal shop that accepts very small jobs? I'm looking to have a couple shelf brackets made to match a set I already have. They're pretty simple, just an angled piece of steel with 90 degree bends to make it flat against the wall and shelf. Trying to avoid having to replace all my shelves to add more. Thanks!

Sorry, don't know any shops, but that is pretty thin gauge steel - you should be able to make them yourself with a sawzall or jigsaw with a metal blade (or a plasma cutter :)), a file or grinder to smooth the edges, a vice to do the bending, and a drill to make the holes.

There used to be a place right off Route 8 on I think it was Tallmadge Avenue (sp). It was between Route 8 and Brittain Rd. but closer to rt 8.

They did small jobs and prototypes for testing purposes.

It's a metal fab shop.

Not sure of the name, it's been a lotta years since I've spoken to them but they were fair and honest.

Hope that helps.

Man I could make those for you in an hour or so. Too bad you're not local to me.
Don't you know anyone with a welder?

Google this... "Tri Shelf brackets/supports. There's a bunch of MFG's that make them. Target has them. I bet they'll be more cost effective then sheet metal shop prices even if you replace them all. Plus they'll be painted and finished.

I don't see welds on those - just looks like it is bent. It seems to be pretty thin gauge, but I could be wrong. Welding would certainly work too though, and it's more fun than bending smile

Cut, Press Brake and Drill... That's what it looks like to the untrained eye

Oh. Sorry didn't look at the photo. Now that I have... l agree with another poster, just look online. I bet you can find one cheaper than having one custom made.
