God this show is getting darker and more awesome each week. Episode 9, literally blew my mind. Did not expect that at all. I am still in shock. I have a few fan theories.

Oh my God. Such an amazing show. I absolutely love it. The changes to the timeline really screw with my head.

I buy HBO when Game of Thrones comes on each season. I can't wait to get into Westworld on demand when I do. Heard so many good things.

Does it have a similar theme or idea as the movie?

It's loosely based on it. But it's not a thriller, it's a lot more complicated. It also really tries to push human culpability with these androids. Overall, it's up there with other top HBO programming. True Detective, Night Of and more of their serialized dramas like GoT and Sopranos. Overall, I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Especially people with Bill Joy like fears about the future. So... Did everyone catch up yet? Watched the finale last night and it was crazy good. I thought it was unpackaged tidily, maybe a bit too much. But HBO already gave them a season 2, and while they're a tad desperate for programming recently, nothing they have have been too bad. Anyway, Ford's sleight of hand was really interesting. I think it took a lot of the winds out of the sail though. I can't wait to see what happens in Samurai World though. Hopefully they don't have the reveries installed so we can do this entire journey over again, but in the Sengoku era.

Great show. Loved the finale but I can't help but wonder when Maeve was on the train getting ready to leave... WHO TAKES THEIR DAUGHTER TO A PLACE LIKE THAT?
Anyway, the Samurai thing makes me think there are multiple parks out there, not just this one.
Season 2 is slated for 2018.

About Maeve Makes me wonder if there was even a little kid on that train or if she's was just programmed to see a kid on the train and run back to the park. Apparently JJ Abrahams said that they had 5 seasons in mind for Westworld. Should be interesting to see what they cook up.
