LOL
we're 0-10, they're going to be HUNGRY I would assume. Their offense is something we can only dream about.
Big Ben has more wins against us than any Browns QB has had TOTAL since 1999 (think about that one).
Can we avoid 0-11? ... or at the very least, avoid being embarrassed on the score board and in the stands (probably 60% Steeler fans is my guess)
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I'm sure most of us say no. But most probably feel that if we end up with only 1 win this season, let this be the one!

That's what folks have been saying for EVERY game (except NE) that we've lost.

That's what folks have been saying for EVERY game (except NE) that we've lost. i hate resorting to beating Pittsburgh as our super bowl. it's all we've basically had, but it sucks. I'd love to be just about any other fan base right now. Either in the playoffs or in the hunt. Is there a franchise we wouldn't trade with right now? Maybe Jax or SF?

Remember our first loss in 99 and our first win 2000 at the new stadium was against the Steelers. I was at the game in 2000. The place went nuts.
But this Sunday we go to 0-11.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Nope.
0-11 becomes a reality. The 0-16 perfect season parade that's being planned takes a step closer to reality as well.

They're going to tear us a new one, so they can be the darlings of the press again. I can see the headline, Resurgent Steelers.

I doubt they care about the headlines. I do think they wanna kick the crap out of us. And I think they will.
So........I predicted the Browns would beat Eagles, Skins, and Ravens.......so maybe this will work in a positive way.

They are hungry, the fans around here are pissed. They will come in and pummel this team. I think ben could score at will against this defensive backfield.
If it is snowing, Bell run the defense to the ground. It ain't going to be pretty.
I would love to see Haslam after this game is over. Red as a beat lol

Maybe the 30+ MPH winds will help us. They will have to run more. Our run defense is better this year than in most years. God help us if Ben passes a lot and wind is not a huge factor.

Maybe their defence will let us score like they did against Dallas lol.

Home game for the steelers.
You can find tickets right now for under 30 bucks.
There's gonna be so many terrible towels in the stands.
We're gonna get crushed.

I need Pryor in fantasy this week ... its between him and Marvin Jones ... i really want to play Pryor against this D and the fact we should be behind quickly and forced to throw alot ... Just can't trust this with the wind forecast .. hopefully it won't be as windy .. I may just go pick up the revived Vernon Davis if the wind is to high ... YUCK ... *L* ..

We're now less than a month away from it being a full calendar year since our party boy Hollywood Billy Manziel won us a game... won us a game of any sort...we didn't even win a damn pre-season game. Again, it's hard to be that bad!

I hope the plan is to run Crow and Duke over and over and over. The few games I watched of the Steelers, they give up the big run. Plus, we need to keep Ben on the sidelines. TOP is the only chance we have. Yeah, and we have to score TDs once and a while.
Somebody better block Shazier, or Josh will be playing quickly.
I never play any Steelers on my fantasy team, just feels dirty LOL, but I have Arizonas defense and the Steelers defence and I'm thinking of playing Pittsburgh. I got a feeling turnovers are going to be a factor, and sacks.

Big Ben has more wins against us than any Browns QB has had TOTAL since 1999 (think about that one). A little clarification (and more of a kick in the yam bag), Big Ben has more wins at Cleveland Browns Stadium (9), than every Browns staring QB since '99 has had at home, except for DA. That is utterly absurd.

j/c...
Obviously I would love this to be a win as I'm sure everyone here wishes as well.
I know we haven't given up. The D has played better - Big Ben does kill us. I can't forget that game where Landry started and we physically knocked him out of the game in the first quarter. then Big Ben comes in and with one leg (we never rushed more than 4) stood in the pocket and tore us apart.
What I do know is that several coaches and Pryor had stated that after the benching Kessler has awakened and had his best practices all season this week...What does that mean to game day? Don't know but I hope the kid just relaxes and has fun out there and wings it.

Ground game gives Cleveland Browns chance to upset Steelers By Jeff Schudel, The Morning Journal & The News-Herald POSTED: 11/19/16, 5:23 PM EST | UPDATED: 34 SECS AGO # COMMENTS Steelers at Browns When: 1 p.m., Nov. 20 Where: FirstEnergy Stadium Records: Steelers 4-5; Browns 0-10 TV: WOIO Radio: WNCX-FM 98.5, WKRK-FM 92.3, WKNR-AM 850 In another era, back when Brian Sipe wore a brown jersey and Terry Bradshaw wore a white one as a member of the visiting team, this would be a perfect Browns-Steelers setting. The weather forecast for Nov. 20 in Cleveland calls for snow, rain and 33-mph winds with a high of 38 degrees. It’s what November football should be about. Something is missing, though. The Browns are 0-10, and worse than that, they’ve won only three games since Nov. 23, 2014. The Steelers will arrive at FirstEnergy Stadium for the 1 p.m. kickoff trying to end a four-game losing streak. The AFC North is having such a down year that despite being 4-5, the Steelers are only one game behind division-leading Baltimore. The first team tying a tourniquet successfully to stop the bleeding wins. “There’s disappointment in what’s transpired,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said on a conference call. “There’s anger and so forth and natural human emotions, but we’ve been focused not on how we feel emotionally but what it is we need to do to rectify that. What’s transpired, there’s nothing we can do about it at this point. We are what our record says we are.” The Browns are healthier than they have been since the start of the season. They will need every able-bodied player if they are going to pull an upset. Keeping the score close would enable the Browns to rediscover their run offense. They rushed for 120 yards, 145, 169 and 163 yards in the first four games. Then they faced the Patriots in the fifth game. They rushed for 27 yards against New England, 40 against Tennessee and 68, 45 and 33 yards each of the last three weeks. Sandwiched in there was a 180-yard rushing performance against the Bengals in which quarterback Kevin Hogan hopped off the bench and ran for 104 yards in a 31-17 loss. “To have that kind of success that you want and the efficiency that you want, you have to have opportunities,” Browns running game coordinator Kirby Wilson said. “You have to convert third downs to get more opportunities to do what you want. You control the line of scrimmage and run the football more and efficiently. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened for us lately. We’re all not happy about it, and Crow (running back Isaiah Crowell) deserves to be frustrated. We are all working hard to fix it.” Crowell has averaged less than three yards a carry in five of his last six games, and in three of those he averaged less than two yards a carry. The Browns will have no chance against Pittsburgh if they can’t run the ball because the Steelers’ pass rushers will just tee off on rookie quarterback Cody Kessler, who grows older by the sack. If the story of this season repeats itself, the Browns’ offense will go dormant in the second half — they are averaging 5.1 points a game in the second half — Browns fans will head to the exits with five minutes left in the third quarter and by 3:30, only Steelers fans will remain. “We really have to pull together some drives, put together some big-time plays because I believe in this team,” Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor said. “I love playing for Coach (Hue Jackson) and I’m going to give him everything I have these last six games. Hopefully, we can bring home a win for him because he deserves it and this coaching staff deserves it.” Pryor grew up in the Pittsburgh area but said he was not a Steelers fan. Instead he followed Lions running back Barry Sanders. http://www.morningjournal.com/sports...upset-steelers

Not sure how we are going to be able to run until Kessler makes teams pay for scheming to stop the run?

said this in the "man free" thread. but got no response.
we ran the ball very well up to the NE game...which just so happens to be the game we lost Bitiono for the season. So are all the teams scheming against the run on us? or do we suck running without Bitiono in there? I am not sure. To me it's a bit of both

I think Bitonio is a good player and his loss hurts. However, even before NE did that to us, I was thinking if I was the DC, that is exactly what I would do against the Browns w/Cody at qb.
Cody has that rep and he either refuses to---or can't---escape it.
