So i just heard about us having a freaking punter on the practice squad. I was thinking that maybe they were hoping to go cheep and release coldquit? Or is it that we might punt so much in practice because thats what we`ll be doing alot of in games?
Maybe a good use for our practice squad would be to find a qb? I mean we better start finding someone if kodi cant play unless 2 qbs go down.
Its like we could be using kickers like baseball uses pitchers...send in the lefty. Lets go with the knuckleballer.
I`m good with Baker... Playoffs is good enough for me.

I think Hue basically just said he really liked what he saw from the punter, but he just wasn't ready to do it in games so they signed Colquitt. But the PS kid might have a long term future.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Colquitt only signed a one year deal, it isn't like we have him locked up for multiple years.

We were always going to suck. I'll take sucking and the fourth round pick over sucking while having a good punter.

if the punter might have some talent, but not quite ready... i see nothing wrong with putting him on the PS.
You can keep a closer eye on his skill in practice vs an individual workout.
