Me being a kid, I can understand this more than you geezers because I see it everyday when I'm at school. The kids that just sit around a little group and talk about new cheat codes for there video game...I just shake my head because #1, it's a little geeky, and #2, it's brainwashing them. These other kids are brainwashed by video games that they play and then they lose interest in what other things to do other than video games. I play video games, just not enough that I become a nerd about them and not do anything else.  I like to go outside. Heck, I have 3 regular dirt baseball fields with fences right down my street. My little brother and I go down there to play ball, and do some BP to stay straight for Fall baseball so we aren't rusty when it comes to the season.  Everybody is coming out with these new rides for kids. Like go karts, eletric scooters..etc. Whatever happened to the good old bicycle?  I'll take my bicycle over a eletric scooter anyday.  My 2 cents....

I'm wondering if it's really so hard to use sun screen. Kids need to get outside but I don't see what's so bad about having them put on some sun screen before they do and reapplying it if they're out for a while.

They need to shove these BS studies up their butts. It's just more reason to make kids fat and lazy, which they already are. Put on sunscreen and go play outside, use your brain and your body and have fun instead of being mindless fools. Want a solution when getting hot? DRINK WATER NOT POP. Simple logic that people are too dumb to understand. I was always outside as a kid, still play softball on Sundays and started golfing (I'm 31). These kids will have no social skills and grow up fat and stupid.
