Say what??????????????????????????????????????????????????
Then again, I remember that one preseason game, he had that awesome sack. Someone here posted a video of it.
Actually it was pblack, here's the YT link:
Look at him untouched, blazing speed, stop on a dime like that. If he gets a no-touch run at the QB, it's good. If he gets chipped or hands on by an o-linemen, it's not good.
I'm curious what his sacked in NE looked like. Sure i'll see the highlights!
On the strip sack (video on NFL.com in the New England game's GameCenter), he was chipped by a running back and pushed deep and basically out of the play except for the QB having to scramble and move to his left to buy time. That gave Mingo (almost wrote Wimbley, lol!) enough time to recover and chase him down from behind.
His speed definitely made that happen. His regular rushing ability about had him completely out of the play, however.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
He had a small pocket to step into... coverage sack! You will NOT, ever, outrun Mingo in that situation.
But look at that FIRST initial contact with the o-linemen. Both of Mingo's feet appear to get lifted right off the ground. That was his problem. Just no power.
