Not according to some on this board, bro.
You got guys on here that said the whole civil rights movement made our country take a step back.
Wheres that thread at
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
- Theodore Roosevelt

Shameful but unfortunately from what I have seen, doesn't surprise me. According to my belief system, I will let the Almighty judge them.

Wheres that thread at I think you might be taking some things out of context. I don't think you will find ANYBODY who believes that moving toward equality was a bad thing.. but you might find people who think there might have been a better way to do it..

Yes. It was a shame our forefathers were too cowardly to give every slave 40 acres and a mule.

You know what is really sad bro? Your a troll you have no interest in the people who post on this board or those who really care about it. Even if or when you post something that could mean a lot to everyone it means nothing coming from you. MY heart goes out to you bro that you have the need to bother others just so you feel better yourself. I have added you to my prayer list buddy.
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.

the 40 acres and a mule thing wasn't really gonna happen anyway.
i don't get why some cling to that. i dunno if you just saying that in jest or not so my bad if i didn't know.
but yea, the idea was actually pushed by black leaders at the time, which General Shermans backing, the mules were lend to about 40k in free slaves in south carolina, i think something around 300-400k acres.
but it was suppose to be no MORE than 40 acres.
also, not all the slaves were freed.
people like to claim Abe lincoln was the champion of freeing the slaves. this is a half-truth:
he only did it to the states that were rebelling. the states that didn't rebel got to keep their slaves. he only freed the slaves in the south because that would cripple their economy.
on top of that, most of the freed slaves were suppose to be sent back to Africa.
people like to leave out those bits of nuggets.
anyway, back to the original topic:
i'm really glad this got past, but unfortunately, you still see the segregation in schools sometimes, just a lot less obvious.

You know what is really sad bro? I have added you to my prayer list buddy. Rhetorical questions are generally narcissistic insult set-ups. Considering the nature of contempt and self-worship even in a thread honoring one of the meritorious results of our legal system against the evil of racism, I would be less than clear as to whom you are praying to.
