Anyone buy one of those Authentic Brady Quinn jerseys off of ebay yet? They claim to be authentic game day jerseys. They look good, but they are selling for like $40. The retail cost for a game jersey is roughly $250 or so according the the Browns Web Site. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-BRADY-QUINN-10-A...1QQcmdZViewItemHas anyone purchased one yet? How's the quality? I bought a away Winslow authentic off of Ebay last year and it is perfect. Thanks. Raleigh

I haven't, but thought about it until I saw it's 3XL.
I could wear it as a dress. But then I'd probably get beat up.

How can they offer an authentic game day jersey when he hasn't played a game yet?
Maybe my thinking is screwey but to me a Game Day Jersey has to be worn by the player.

I seen some replica Quinn jerseys on sale at JC Penny in Greenville for 44 bucks........I know that if you can find one in Tampa..........it will cost you about 85 bucks or more!
I do not think that I am ready to buy a Quinn jersey quit yet.............content with my Wimbley one for sure!

If you search "Brady Quinn Authentic Jersey" many sizes will come up. Authentic Game Day Jersey just means it is the exact copy of what is worn by the players, not that it is game worn. I have Authentic's of Winslow and a Personalized one. The difference between the authentic jersey and a replica is the spandex sides, sleeves and neck. Plus they are obvioulsy very large because they are designed for shoulder pads.
If you goto the Browns website you can order a authentic jersey with any name or number, but they are around $250 or so. That is why I think this deal on ebay is good. Just can't tell if they are truly made by Reebok or not. Lots of scams out there!

I agree,...I am a card collector, so ANY card that comes out now purporting to be a GameDay Jersey card is complete crap,....I stray far from these types of memorabilia.

I think they skirt around that by having the player catch a ball or two while wearing the jersey and now it's 'authentic'. I saw a behind the scenes video about how these things really work and it's a joke. They will throw on a jersey and gloves, catch a ball or two from someone, take them off and repeat the process. I guess it's 'authentic' b/c the player did wear it, even if just for 30 seconds to catch a ball from some guy at the photo shoot.
What a joke.
Is anyone surprised though?

Agreed,..that's what makes the whole process "un-authentic." I don't own a single item in my collection that has not been properly authenticated by ME.
My favorite bozo-ness is the card that has real infield "dirt" from Yankee Stadium,...

always be careful with sports memorabilia, especially on ebay, fbi estimates 50% of those products are bunk, and many have fake COA's. If it sounds to good to be true, it is. If someone truly has a premium product, why would he have to heavily discount it?

Well, I bought one. They posted VERY LARGE and Detailed photos of the jersey and I compared it to my Winslow authentic. Everything looks the same. So even if it is not the real deal, I'm not going to be too upset because I only paid $29.95 plus $13 in shipping. So for $42 I'm getting a jersey that honestly looks damn good. Plus the guy will offer 100% refund of the cost plus shipping if I am not completely satisfied. How can you lose?

I bought one to and just got it today. I'm actually wearing it right now. It looks pretty good, had the Reebok tags on it and the logos and everything are correct. I'm pretty certain its not authentic, but its close enough for me to buy it for the $25 I paid (plus shipping). People will complain about the non-authentic authentic-looking jerseys for $25 on ebay, but will buy the Kmart or Wal-Mart knock offs that don't look nearly as close. I don't understand that one... Just thought I'd post an update on this, if anybody was looking at buying one.

Last year I bought my son an official AJ Hawk jersey. (The poor kid is a packer fan) I compared it to the authentic jerseys I had bought elsewhere and saw no difference. If I ever buy another jersey it will be from eBay. I don't see a reason to waste all of that money when I can get the same thing for 1/5 the cost.

I thought you said you bought one on the 3rd. Did you buy 2?

If it has the tags who cares if it "real" or not. The only it matters to is you. I think I may get one, but I don't want Quinn. I'd rather get Joey J or Wimbley

All depends on how nice your legs are. I would recommend you shave them though

J/C I received mine yesterday. I think the quality is good for the money, but definitely NOT authentic or on field quality like the custom jerseys you can order directly from Reebok or the Browns Shop. I have 2 authentics and the Quinn jersey is not even close. I would say it is better than a "Replica" but not nearly a true Authentic.
For the money I won't cry about it though. I still might look at getting a Authentic jersey down the road.
