I just read that Bodden and Unck were " Running Mt. Bellicheck" at practice, instead of practicing with the rest of the team, does this mean they were out of shape?

Please Explain, Thanks.

My guess is that they were held out of anything that could get them in potential contact, probably for precautionary measures. But, they're well enough to at least do some running, so this is good for them.

WOW, I hadn't heard that term in years,.,.

When Belichick was our coach in the early 90s, he had a hill put on the side of the practice facility.. It was a grass hill with a fairly steep incline and would reportedly make guys run up and down that hill constantly.... Some players complained and some didn't. nothing new there.

As for Bodden and Unck, if memory serves me correctly, both are coming off injury so it's more than likely a way of getting or keeping them in shape untill they are able to get into the practice regime with the other guys.... Just a guess however!
