Goff has always been my choice and will always be my choice @ #2 ...
Honestly, I like them both. And I don't think that just because you miss on one doesn't mean you can't take the other (in the event someone trades up to the Titans spot).
I'm pretty dead set on a QB this year. We haven't had an opportunity to pick whichever QB we want in a draft in awhile, not at this pick.
And I don't believe this is the Geno Smith/EJ Manuel draft of years ago.
I think both these guys can be quality starters in the NFL.
Folks want all these other positions, but IMO we aren't going to get any better until we get the QB settled. Sure, there's teams that do it with lower round QBs, but finding one in that bunch seems much more difficult than getting one very high.

I'm not high on Cook (I find him ridiculously inconsistent, he's the player that I want to like so bad, and I just can't), Hackenberg (who just seemed to fall off after a great freshman campaign), or Prescott (I don't think he has an NFL arm). Lynch is quite the project.
One of these two guys would have a bigger impact on our team than anyone else. That's just my opinion. Bosa, Tunsil, Hargreaves, Ramsey, Treadwell, none well have the impact one of these two would. And who knows where we will be next year (if we can draft a QB of this caliber).
The only thing is, I would like Hue to figure out a way to really test and see if Goff has the arm strength (and if he can grip the ball) to be effective in the AFC North.
