Good flick for sure. It's a "Harry Potter" flick but for adults. F-bomb's, blood, violence and penetration. Wait, no penetration.   Check it out if you have a chance...

Ummm i didn't really like it, but it wasn't a bad movie. It's dark with some pretty gory parts to it. IHas a kind of M. Night Shyamalan ending though. Eh, I would say its "rent" worthy though.
There are no sacred cows.

It was weird, while I was at the video store last night checking if they had something this 60 year old guy made this screaming sound and picked up the box cover. One of the weirdest things I've seen in my life. A Harry Potter for adults?  Sorry count me out.

Just saw it last night... dark, weird, sad, interesting story against an interesting backdrop. Good acting.

I saw it in the theater. I thought it was an excellent movie but man there's some serious false advertisement going on. There are BARELY any fantasy elements. The previews, poster, and DVD cover ONLY show the fantasy scenes and I'd say they all only add up to 10 to 15 minutes of the movie.
Still a great movie, that I recommend anyone seeing.
FYI, the other movies of last year that I HIGHLY recommend are Children Of Men (thought it deserved best picture) and The Fountain, which just came out on DVD this week. I still haven't seen Babel, I've heard mixed reviews.
