Who do we want? Hot as blazes Detroit or playoff seasoned Houston? I prefer Detroit. I didn't want Houston to make the playoffs and don't want them to go to the next round. Besides that weak reason, the Guards the past few years, always seem to have issues with them. Houston has solid pitching and solid hitters. Altuve always seems to get hot against us too. Another reason, I understand Detroit has been hot this month which you usually don't want to mess with a team like that. However, the Guards are really familiar with DET, I would rather them face a (young) team they know inside and out than freaking Houston.

I would want no part of going to Houston. Detroit is hot, but the Guards will beat them

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

Yeah the NYY offense is crazy, but the Dodgers are at another level still. Our offense is what keeps us from doing anything this year.. Ours is easily the worst of all the division winners. We're going to have to hope pitching comes ready and gives us a chance
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. -John Wayne

Kudos to you guys for rooting for a team that calls themselves the "Guardians".- lol. And kudos to my pops for raising me as a Yankees fan - and we made it through the lean years of the 80's.
Yanks win their 28th this year.

Yanks win their 28th this year. I like your confidence, I’m the same way. Too early to call a title, though.

Yanks win their 28th this year. Your old man sounds like a dopey front runner that tried to make up for his own shortcomings. Congrats for being a Yanks fan, though. Super tough.

When Chris Sale was left off the WC roster. I knew it was over.
No team can lose the players the Braves lost to injury and win in the Post season.
All about the Guardians now to save the season.
Timely hits and good pitching is the formula.

Purchased Guardians tickets to the ALCS this morning. Hopefully, this doesn’t put the whammy on them in the ALDS!

Best of luck. I have always dreamed about being at a game that decided a championship for my team.
I have done it as an amateur baseball coach but never been to playoff game.
Seeing the Browns , Braves or Guardians win a championship would be way too cool.
Championships I have watched happen on TV for my team.
Browns 1964
Braves 1995
Cavs 2016
Braves 2021
* Indians 1948. I was one. So I don't remember it. But My Mom and Dad told me about it.
I am really pulling for the Guardians.

I know a lot of people are upset that the game times aren't "primetime" but it is nice to have them on earlier IMO ... don't have to wait around, don't have to be up so late

Agree, and how about Pete Alonso keeping my Mets in the playoffs last night? Clutch three-run homer in the ninth. BAM!

Best of luck. I have always dreamed about being at a game that decided a championship for my team. Thanks! My wife and I were at Game 6 of the World Series in 2016 when the Cubs were playing the Indians. It was kind of surreal walking in to the ballpark knowing that tonight could be the game they win the WS since they were up 3-2 in the series at the time. Instead, in the first inning Naquin and Chisenhall fail to communicate on a routine fly ball and that set the tome for the game. I had the most obnoxious female Cubs fan sitting behind us. It was a rough night. What was a pretty cool gesture from the Dolan's was they sent every season ticket holder that purchased postseason tickets commemorative World Series ticket stubs to all four home games with your actual seat on the ticket. A graded game 7 ticket stub now sells for ~$1,500.

Indians/Guardians have been in the playoffs enough recently for people to know better. Yankees or other major market will always get the primetime slot for the ALDS series.
