Well said. I think we collectively need to stop pointing toward the idiots and then painting the other side with a broad brush. That has become very widespread because I think it makes each of us feel better about our own beliefs, inherently believing that the other side is stupid. I don't necessarily think these reporters fit that mold per se, but they are definitely not the brightest of the bunch like you say.
