It kind of feels like the tail is wagging the dog there with your argument, though. The it was on behalf of the US govt line is kind of bunk. Biden's people "were the government" when he acted. Trump's people "are the govt" now. It's not quite that simple, but in a lot of ways it holds true.

Except that 1 the timing is all wrong regarding the event having anything at all to do with Hunter. Read the article posted above. 2 Europe hailed the firing completely independently from any efforts the USA made.

Sure, try to cast doubt about anything because that's your schtick ... It doesn't stack up in this instance. The firing of Shokin wasn't connected to Hunter, and wasn't initiated or engineered by Joe. The facts support this no matter how you want to frame it.
