Thanks, Arch. It takes something special "to step up to the plate" so to speak. having enough refs and officials to cover games and matches is a challenge and a headache. Lots of kids in lots of sports learn lots of lessons for life. These may be some of their most valued lessons. The extreme majority are not going to play in college, while fewer will ever crack the Bigs. What you give every kid who competes in a well-supervised contest is the chance for positive outcomes and character building. Folks like you make it all possible and give it value.
