I can't believe the pro bowl beat out the average 2012 World Series game, that's just mind-blowing.

Like, I understand some people flip over while they are channel surfing on Sunday, but who in their right mind, is in the office on Friday saying "well man, I gotta make sure I get this and that done on Saturday so I can watch the PRO BOWL on Sunday!"

I would imagine some baseball fans did that with the World Series, no? I mean even the people outside of the two cities that played last year, just regular baseball fans.

2012 was the worst for WS veiwership in history..

Still way too high. Baseball is just for passing the time until real men heal IMO. We need more NFL obviously. basebol is too diluted as far as talent. And PEH too apparently. Just ludicrous how pointless the PrBowl is though. Almost missed it (appointment cancelled).

Wow, the '95 World Series has the highest ratings since the strike? That's really amazing when you think about how much the Yankees and Red Sox were in it, since they have such huge fanbases or "nations" or whatever those people call it. Sounds like for all their fans and bandwagon fans, anyone who isn't is pretty turned off. I know I was.

I'm sure some of it had to do with baseball being away for a year and coming back with tons of momentum with the new ballparks, juiced balls, juiced players, etc...

If you would have asked me what the higest rated WS was since the strike, I would have said either NY/NY in 2000 or BOS/STL in '04.

2 of the 3 highest rated WS since the strike have both involved the Cleveland Indians (including one against the Florida Marlins).

obviously, if Bud Selig wants to save baseball, then he needs to rig the system to get the Indians back into the WS!
