well... he basically was...
you can argue that maybe RG3 was a better rookie but I don't know of too many all-time that have played as well as he has.... not electing him to the HOF or anything, but if this kid stays healthy he's gonna be a hell of a payer.

that should about do it. Nice run Indy you have a great QB no denying that, darn it.
If you need 3 years to be a winner you got here 2 years to early. Get it done Browns.

I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

He wasn't the perfect Rookie QB this year. Flashes of greatness? Yes. No doubt. But for people to just gloss over all the INT's he threw doesn't help. Indy has a bright future with Luck. My beef is just with the talking heads. Not Luck himself.
At least we won't have to see Ray Lewis' "I gotta go pee" dance anymore after this year.

No offense but just what do you think a perfect ROOKIE QB would look like? Darn people around here have some high expectations for rookies.

It's pretty sickening listening to all the CBS announcers talk about what a great human being Ray Lewis is.

Terrible human being but I respect his greatness as an athlete.

One of the best to ever play the game.
And, for me at least, the epitome of the "thank God there's football or this guy would be serving 25 to life."
Also thank God he makes good money to pay child support for his, what, 6 kids by 4 different women?
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

jc...
It occurred to me after the Ravens-Colts game that neither losing AFC team scored an offensive touchdown.

He also had an 54% completion rate, not all that good. His big things were a couple game winning drives.

Well that and he took a 2 win team to the playoffs. As a rookie the stats aren't everything, the guy just seems to get it done when it matters.. and there is something to be said for that.
