Yeah .... 10 of the top 40 threads in the Tailgate are even remotely political ...... and that's in 1 of the 5 forums a poster can post in. (or read)

I have no desire to read threads about video games ... thus, I do not read them.

I got tired of the QB threads last year, and thus, for the most part, stopped reading them.

I routinely do not read threads started by certain posters.

Problem solved.

I weep for the future when today's kids have such limited problem solving skills.

Yeah I do. There's been a shift in the content of this place over the past couple years. Good people have left and few good new people have come in their place.

LMAO, what a crock of crap.

I remember one time, I didn't like the title of a thread. So, I didn't read it.

Another time, I did like the title of a thread. So, I did read it.

You beat me to it.

This board has changed from how it was when Purp started it. The standards and moderation have been relaxed somewhat imo. The "good" posters who have left wasn't because of the changes. The "good" posters I'm assuming Ammo is talking about could be Eo and Vers. I think they left because they couldn't follow some basic rules that have been here since the beginning.

I do miss Eo even if he had thin skin. Vers I really like but he just refused to conform. I'm not sure about DnD, is he even here?

Funny thing is a lot of those posters were as arrogant and self-righteous about their football knowledge as a lot of people are about their politics... they were rude and condescending and if they know half as much about football as they claimed to know I can only assume they are gone because they are now on an NFL sideline or in an NFL front office.. my guess is they are not.

No, he's still in the hospital, fighting the good fight against ............well, whatever it was.

Why did you have to bring up his name? I had a terrible day yesterday, now today I read about him.....

Everything's a political debate or some kind of discussion of how this country's going down the tubes. It's miserable to read and a major reason why I've been posting less and less.

So it's working.

Thanks for the update.

No, he is tweeting news about NFL players, that are being sited as fact by reliable news sources. Sorry, I said "reliable news sources", couldn't help but laugh.
