That's funny, but my mom DID know about it many months beforehand. I remember her trying to tell me & my brothers that it was going to happen... to which we then began talking about mom needing to be committed because there was just no way in hell the team could move, Modell wouldn't be allowed out of town alive.

I remember the cam they had set up on the internet to watch the new stadium being built. It was all I had living in Oklahoma to stay in touch with the Browns.

I couldn't see the cam through the tears that were still in my eyes,...the OLD ones, not the new. It bordered on depression, but I let it go at heartbreak.

I remember that cam. I logged in from the Chaplin's office onboard ship at the time. Was very sad thing to watch, but it kept me grounded to my home while I was so far away.
