We all wanted this kid to work. It was literally our only way out of this monumental QB mess. It’s clearly not gonna work. He’s not an NFL qb - at least not here. He could very very easily go somewhere else and be great. He has the skills. But it’s not gonna work here. Not much will.

He cannot read Defenses in the least. Poor decision maker. He will always be a backup or 3rd string

I think we know. But the qb room is so effed right now that substandard qbs have opportunities that they wouldn’t on any other team. We simply don’t have very many options.

DTR is not an NFL qb. But that doesn’t mean he’s done here. Any other team in the nfl would cut bait. We can’t.

I think that fans turning their back on this team, for even just A GAME, would send a chilling message to ownership. If Browns fans were to boycott a home game FOR ONE GAME, we would show the team owners how easily the money could go away.

I know that this is not possible. It’s too ingrained in the fabric of this town. Even the suggestion (which I made last week) illicits “do what you want but I support my team” stuff suggesting that I don’t support my team.

It’s question of what we are willing to put up with. The ownership is betting that there is no limit to what we put up with. I happen to think they’re right. And THATS the ultimate problem.

Carolina seems to finally have a franchise QB. Congratulations.
