Winston has been exactly who he has been for his whole career: he'll push the ball down the field for good and bad. Which means he'll never win consistently. He easily puts the ball into harms way 10 times a game

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

C''mon - 4 penalties for lining up incorrectly. That is on coaching. Mistakes everywhere you turn. I don't see any wins left...even Miami should roll over us. The one bright spot: our draft position improved a bit....

Our special teams need some changes too. Ventrone has not impressed me.

Placing a premium, perhaps too much, in the behind-the-scenes organizational processes. Outcomes driven? Whatever targets and metrics we are worshipping are not translating to the field for wins. The coaching has been exposed. Re-set priorities, simplify targets. Simplify, simplify. We are fooling no-one IMO.

Maybe this is a dumb question...

Is a broken foot bone really a bad thing for someone coming back from a catastrophic soft-tissue injury during a season that hasn't mattered for a month or more? I know it's not going to help him continue to get his strength/explosiveness back, but it does alleviate the risk of taking another hit to that knee as it continues to heal.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

That's what I was thinking as well. Maybe a blessing in disguise for him to sit out the rest of the season and have several more months to let his body heal. Was the broken foot on the same side as his knee surgeries?

No. The knee injury was his second major injury and subsequent surgery to his right knee. Yesterday he broke his left foot via a non contact injury.

The radio was brutal this morning. One host noted that the muni lot was more than half empty. He also noted that the stadium was noticeably more occupied with chiefs fans. - Even noted that the ushers had never seen fewer browns fans in there.

Good. Send the message that this is unacceptable and won’t be tolerated. If this team can’t string together two consecutive playoff seasons-IN 25 YEARS, nor can they win a divisional championship, no more tolerance.

They can move to OKC or San Antonio. Bring in an nhl team.

I feel like our ST unit is a huge issue too. Our FG kickers stinks, our return game/coverage has been leaky, we don't have a good, consistent threat back there ... and we have had costly penalties

I think we’ve shown signs of life in the return game the last couple of weeks. Ford has run better on returns - and in the O - the past two games than he ever has. Can’t blame Ray Ventrone for Hopkins. That’s all on the kicker.
Ford seems to be running with burst, with purpose, instead of hesitation.

The only loser around here is you. Posting this crap nonstop on a Browns message board. I’ve been through my team leaving and I would rather have a team that can’t win over that. You don’t like it you really should leave. This board would be better off without your crap.
