The Bills with their 10-3 record and Josh Allen with his 6 TDs (none thrown to the other team), sure do miss Dorsey!

Looking at the games JW has played, some really adequate passing and QBing. But to be fair, he seems to be a turnover waiting to happen, often in the worst way at the worst time. Seems like he should be considered as capable of at least three picks up to about as many as six. I am referencing the picks he has made, 2-3/game, and also some passes which might be/should be/could well have been. He has good motor, undeniably! For me, a little less rah-rah, a little more hit the open receivers, fewer picks, and stop taking sacks. Get DW outta town.

But, it's a lot better watching him than dw. Amazing how our receivers were, we were told, never open down field. JW comes in, and bam, they're open. Yup, some INT's to go with it, no doubt.

I agree, Arch. You get two choices: picks or sacks, multiple in course of a game. JW is betterIMO.

The QB play is definitely eye-opening in terms of effect on the line's performance as well as receivers.

But I also feel like it's overshadowing the mediocre play of our defense. Winston is a backup for a reason, and I personally would want to dig more into why our nUmBeR wOnE!1! defense seems to struggle to get critical stops.

Best thing about this game was the Discord chat...

Oober; our D has given up a ton of big plays, true, and hasn’t really lit it up turnover-wise, either. Lots of things have gone wrong.

That’s why we’re 3-10!! Lol

It’s just been a tire-fire season in general. Watson’s play, ST suckness, turnovers and back- breaking breakdowns in the secondary.

Bubba Ventrone and all the O-line coaches need to go. Go back to the successful run blocking scheme that was successful with Chubb in the past.

Your post sounds like a knee-jerk, but I honestly wouldn't mind us seeing taking a VERY hard look at our Oline coaching. IIRC, we lost both Callahan AND his successor in the same off-season. Callahan alone would've been a big blow, but then also losing the guy that was supposed to replace him really sucks.

Ventrone has been nothing but a disappointment here.

Agreed.

Hope we can steal Hank Fraley from the Lions
