Cincy at Baltimore tonight might be a really fun game
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

It might just be. At least there's an opportunity for that to happen. The Ravens secondary is suspect at best. It may be that Burrows can wrack up a lot of points to keep things interesting.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

2 teams vying for the playoffs. Baltimore having won two superbowls and Cincy playing in 1 recently. Meanwhile, we’ve never touched the big game. But the idiots keep paying and going. Pathetic loser franchise. Move to OKC or San Antonio. Freaking pathetic franchise.

So jealous of the Bengals and Ravens having top Franchise QBs. I remember everyone hating on Lamar saying he will never be a pocket passer. We should have kept Baker.

what an entertaining game. Two great QBs, play makers, drama, etc.
Chase is a freak of a WR

The spot of the football in the Steeler game was criminal

We should have kept Baker. well that was the main argument for getting Watson...we needed a better franchise QB who could go toe to toe with those 2 teams, plus have to deal with Josh Allen, Pat Mahomes, and Justing Herbert in our conference. Unfortunately time has determined that was the wrong move

things could change, but Houston is really dominating Detroit right now. Great defense

DET @ HOU:
What a game! What a comeback! What a win!!!

1. get in the car for a 1.5-hour drive north to Toledo for The Big Meal. 2. sit through an interminable pre-dinner blessing by a Baptist minster who crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge with MLK (those graces could last forever...) 3. devour a massive meal in 30-45 minutes, a meal whose flavors took hours/days to produce, and cannot be described in words. 4. sit down with full bellies... and watch the Lions lose.
The Browns are my team for life. The Seahawks are my NFC team by adoption (there's a whole other story between me & My Dad about that, but that's for another time...)
But the Lions have been with me since childhood.
I'm loving what their fans are experiencing. Browns fans deserve the same. Lord know we've suffered like Lions fans.
One of my 'Bucket List' entries is to watch a Browns/Lions Super Bowl game.
I doubt that it will happen this season, but it looks like DET might actually get there this year. My goodness, they're doing all the right things.
Two FG's- by millimeters- to win the game... but only after their D held the opponent scoreless in the 2nd half. "Complimentary Football."
Unbelieveable.

Football is fun when it is going well and you win.
When your team has the ability to come back late in games and win. You are excited to watch because you believe you can win.
Not so much fun when you know you are a loser.
It's hard to even watch when the season is over and it is not even Thanksgiving.

what a win for Detroit. Houston dominated the game early and Detroit stormed back. They are easy to root for

Actually, this season was pretty much over the week after Columbus Day. Oh, and one of our past QB's did match Goff with the 5 INT's. Mike Phipps threw 5 picks against Miami in a playoff game on 12-24- 1972. But we didn't win; naturally!

My best friend is from Michigan and lived in Ohio for decades. We were thick and still are. He was my hunting and fishing partner. He moved back there about 20 years ago when I was in my mid 40's. He lives and breathes hunting and fishing so going back to Alpena was like a dream come true for him. He has been a Lions fan his entire life. I watched him suffer all of those decades of horrible football sticking by the Lions side and supporting the team he loved.
We all know that same feeling now. We have more in common with Lions fans than some may realize in that regard. It does my heart good to see they have turned that corner now. I'm so happy for my friend. And it's probably the number one thing that gives me hope that some day the Browns could turn that same corner. I mean if it happened for the Lions, why not us?

It's one of the circumstances where the coach's personality truly changed that whole franchise (and I'm sure the GM is aligned with it)
They are hard nosed, tough, well coached, skilled, etc

Lions looking good. I lived in Detroit for 2-3 years when very young. Went to kindergarten there, then moved to Cleveland.
I can get on the Lions bandwagon. As like Clem, the Lions and Thanksgiving Day are synonymous. Back in the day, that was the only TG day game, and yes, they almost always lost.
Maybe 20 years ago there was a push to take the Lions off as a permanent game. The old time owners quashed that idea. Back when the NFL first proposed the idea, the Fords were the only owners to volunteer to host the game as most owners saw it as a loser draw, and it was for the most part. At least in the beginning. Once it became a marquee game, everybody wanted to host.
Sorry Charlie, the Fords were the ones to stick their neck out, Detroit keeps the noon game forever.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

They sure look legit as a SB contender. I was at a buddy’s house yesterday, a big Bills fan, so I watched more of that. Sloppy game, Allen with a couple dumb plays and Flacco throwing INTs like it’s January in Houston.
I’d still take him right now.

Flacco makes 3-4 really dumb throws a game where he trusts his arm too much ... but he's SO much better at getting the ball out quickly, hitting the intermediate throws, being accurate, etc.

I'm really hoping Winston and the offense make good use of the bye week.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

They should come out after the bye and play well but they probably won’t. I believe that’s happened before. If they play uninspired this Sunday don’t be surprised. 😮

I'm really hoping Winston and the offense make good use of the bye week. Someone that wants to fact check can correct me if I am incorrect. It seems KS has underwhelmed coming off a bye .... Or maybe thats just the seasons weve been fighting for a playoff spot ? Im not optimistic.
