Tim Couch was ragged on by national media for being a bust. All I know: if Tim Couch circa 1999-2001 was on this current team we would be extremely good

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

As much as people focus on the starters not playing in preseason, of the teams that did start them most didn't start them for more than one quarter of play. Yet somehow there are certain people that don't realize that would have all been negated by the beginning of the second quarter in the Cowboys game. So yeah, that's not it.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Orlovsky is right. And again, I ask “Why in the heck would we trade for a qb that doesn’t fit Stefanski’s system? Why in the heck would we trade for a qb who had a slew of unresolved legal issues? And why in the heck would we do the aforementioned and give the guy over 230 million guaranteed?”

The only partial answer that I can think of is that the NFL wanted the Browns to take this mess off of Houston’s hands. One of you smart people can take it from there. The whole dang thing makes zero sense.

I’d say our resident billionaire called the shots thinking he would walk right into a championship… DW never returned to top 5 QB form and here we sit with a broken QB, the one we ran off is playing top 10 ball, and the billionaire has egg on his face. As soon as I heard what they were thinking about I lost all faith in the owner. After the trade, I stuck around reluctantly. Now, I’m going to watch this season without ragging on them as much as they deserve, and just expect less until they show me the have it figured out. I trust Ski and Berry, and I think DW is simply not living up to his end of their deal. I see a guy going through the motions biding his time. I don’t think he ever wanted to be here. 230 million reasons changed his mind, then the fans hated him.

Forget them not playing; they looked like they just rolled up for Day 1 of camp.

Yeah, I know, but I was Attempting to be kind and offer the benefit of the doubt.... I think you are spot on, we are in trouble.

No live action for the starters was a huge mistake. I agree with the guy above. It looked like they weren't ready for the game. That being said, the tackle situation was devastating, it wouldn't surprise me that KS felt the same way and called the game he did. In reality, the whole team took a crap.

Maybe we should ask DW what other teams he’d like to play for and see if we can trade him there. We can probably pay some of his salary to make it happen. Of course after the last two years and our first game it might be difficult. 😣

It would be 100% impossible.

yeah, that's about right. Watson is so cooked and we are stuck

A trade could work if we pay 75% of DW's salary for the team he goes to. Then maybe the Browns can deduct it on their income tax return!!! Problem solved!! thumbsup

I have a solution to how we can get DW to play like a top 5 QB. We'll trade him to the Steelers!!! Straight up for Russel Wilson. They need a QB right? We'll also offer to pay part of his salary. Maybe we can get the Steelers to send us a conditional 5th round pick. Sounds like a win win for both parties!! naughtydevil

But he seems to be still "wanted" by some!
