I figured Isaiah would tap.

I thought so in the beginning when he told the story of how difficult it was to conceive a daughter.

Sarah, Dub, Timber, and William.

Sarah will weaken. She is not eating and has personal baggage. She may be next to tap.

I like William he is tough minded and resourceful.

Dub is doing good.

Timber in the drivers seat with the moose.

I think when you combine his shelter with the moose I see Timber as having a distinct advantage at this juncture.

Absolutely.

I like William. He doesn't have a big score but he knows how to survive.

Dub is doing better. He has a bull moose in his area and he is scoring fish. I think you could make it on fish.

The change is coming soon. Next week snow. There is a long way to go but it will get really tough soon.

Snow arrives and it is going to get real hard soon.

Timber is in control. He is set up to win. He is doing all he needs to win.

The cache was a good build. He is getting fish. His shelter is good enough. He is focused on winning.

William, Sarah, and Dub are all dealing with calorie loss. If they can snare beaver then they can get back in this thing.

However, Timber is in control.

Unless he suffers some major injury, illness or has a mental meltdown from being alone there's no doubt he has a huge advantage at this point.

I don't think he will give in to the mental weakness of missing family etc.

His eyes are on the prize. It would be more like some accident or illness.

I think Dub and William will hang on. Sarah is not getting protein. She will weaken.

I don't see Timber getting weak either. Just one of the possibilities no matter how remote that possibility may be.

Down to the big three.

Timber is doing everything right. Interesting guy.

William is a cool guy. He has a great attitude.

Dub is getting close to giving up. He could still rebound. He is tough minded.

Wow, great season for the show.

Tip of the cap to the final three. They were all worthy.

In the end it was not about survival and food. It was about being Alone.

Dub broke down to the bare bone. He wore down physically and in the end mentally.

Timber was amazing. He is a deep guy with intelligence and sensitivity. He did all you can do. When he said "what is the point anymore." I knew he was gone. You can never loss sight of the goal.

Bravo to William. One of my favorite people on Alone. He never lost sight of the goal to win. He maintained an amazing positive attitude. He never fell into depression. No matter what went wrong. He stayed positive. He deserved to win. I think he would have keep going until he won.

I am already looking forward to another season.

One never knows how you will handle stress until you face it. If I was 35 to 50 years old I would have loved the chance to test myself.

I have watched enough of Alone to know I have the outdoor skills. Bow hunting and fishing I know I can do. Shelter building check.

I have been alone. Not like the show in pure isolation. But alone. I went to Central America alone. I lived in a tent for six months. I still had contact with others but I was alone. I have been to Alaska, British Colombia, and deep into Canada. I lived in Montana, Wyoming, and New Mexico. Spent loads of time outdoors.

I don't know how I would do but damn would have liked trying.

It was a great season. I think that Timber had it in the bag right up to the point he talked himself out of it. I brought that possibility up just a few short replies above. One never knows.

I told my wife at the end of last weeks episode that I saw Dub as the weakest link at that point and even early in this weeks episode nothing changed my mind about that.

Your experiences would make you a much more qualified candidate to be on the show than mine. While I have some experience in existing without outside resources close to where I was born and raised I had years of experience in that area and never close to the length of time and changing seasons as they do on Alone. Although as a younger man I don't know that I may not have convinced myself otherwise. There's always that invincibility factor that young people convince themselves of.

I have watched every season of Alone.

I absolutely love the show. The winners have lots in common and so do those who tap.

I can't remember the guy's name. He was a young heavyset guy. He didn't make fire. In fact he did very little of anything and he won. He was the only person who broke all the molds. The other winners were kind of like William but they scored a big kill. All never lost sight of the goal and they never stopped working.

William lost 70 lbs. No matter how you look at that it is a lot of weight to lose. He packed on some weight but still.

What you don't know is how you will respond to starvation and fatigue. You don't know if you will get ill.

I got amebic dysentery in Guatemala. I was pissing dark brown. Got so weak like worthless. I was lucky to find a doctor. It was scary.

You don't know how you would hold up but I would have loved the challenge.
