They could throw a 2nd round tender on him after the year for about $3 million, and I doubt another team would sign him.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

In an ideal world we would be he’s a restricted free agent and we aren’t matching anything anyone signs him to unless we are cutting Hunt loose.

A second Rd tender would be quite appropriate for him. We choose to either match the $$$ or take the pick. I think we should spend a lot to keep him...whatever a lot is? I don't know.

I don’t see us paying nearly $4 million for our third string running back.

I think that as well...usually. But put D'Earnest Johnson's name in place with "our third string running back" and paying the $$$ to keep him becomes a lot more palatable. We will save $16 mil due to OBJ and I doubt Landry is back at the $15+mil number. We are a running team.... we've seen that we need three RBs.
