I read the article and as far as I know, nobody is claiming the left is perfect or without it's own issues... But we're not fascists trying to overthrow the government. The left also uses more tech and tends to be more adept at social media and communication in general. I could go on but what's the point?
Bottom line is we are all aware of most of these things although the author fails to tell us they are not prevalent on the left in this bad sense the author tries to portray.
So I read your article and 100% can see your train of thought here: Headline bad 4 dems CHECK - Source dems can't bash me for CHECK - Article sounds bad CHECK - Must share this gotcha NOW!
But the article wasn't that bad. He exaggerated the subcultures and included legit internet usage in part of his ragging on the left, but his overall context IMHO comes across as if this is a cautionary tale full of what ifs and hyperbole.

Let's wait until Reuters and the AP weigh in. They are pretty much middle of the road in terms of coverage.

Trump urged Justice officials to declare election ‘corrupt’ WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump urged senior Justice Department officials to declare the results of the 2020 election “corrupt” in a December phone call, according to handwritten notes from one of the participants in the conversation. “Just say the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen,” Trump said at one point to then-Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, according to notes taken by Richard Donoghue, who was then Rosen’s deputy and who was also on the call. The notes of the Dec. 27 call, released Friday by the House Oversight Committee, underscore the lengths to which Trump went to try to overturn the results of the election and to elicit the support of senior government officials in that effort. Emails released last month show Trump and his allies in the last weeks of his presidency pressured the Justice Department to investigate unsubstantiated claims of widespread election fraud, forwarding them conspiracy theories and even a draft legal brief they hoped would be filed with the Supreme Court. The pressure is all the more notable because just weeks earlier, Trump’s own attorney general William Barr, revealed that the Justice Department had found no evidence of widespread fraud that could have overturned the results. Unsubstantiated claims of fraud have been repeatedly rejected by judge after judge, including by Trump appointees, and by election officials across the country. “These handwritten notes show that President Trump directly instructed our nation’s top law enforcement agency to take steps to overturn a free and fair election in the final days of his presidency,” committee chairman Rep. Carolyn Maloney, a New York Democrat, said in a statement. She said the committee had begun scheduling interviews with witnesses as part of its investigation into Trump’s effort to overturn the results. The Justice Department earlier this week authorized six witnesses, including Rosen and Donoghue, to appear before the panel and provide “unrestricted testimony,” citing the public interest in the “extraordinary events” of those final weeks. The Dec. 27 call took place just days after Barr had resigned, leaving Rosen in charge of the department during a turbulent final weeks of the administration that also included the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol in which pro-Trump loyalists stormed the building as Congress was gathered to certify the election results. During the call, according to the notes, Trump complained that people were “angry” and blaming the Justice Department for “inaction” and said that “We have an obligation to tell people that this was an illegal, corrupt election.” He claimed the department had failed to respond to legitimate complaints and reports of election-related crime. The Justice Department officials told Trump that the department had been investigating, including through hundreds of interviews, but that the allegations were not supported by evidence. They said that much of the information the president was getting was “false,” according to Donoghue’s notes. At one point in the conversation, the notes show, Rosen told Trump that the Justice Department “can’t + won’t snap its fingers + change the outcome of the election, doesn’t work that way.” Trump responded by saying: “Don’t expect you to do that, just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen,” according to the notes. Trump mused during the call about replacing Justice Department leadership with Jeffrey Clark, the then-assistant attorney general of the Environment and Natural Resources Division who also served as the acting head of the Civil Division. Donoghue replied that such a move would not change the department’s position. After The New York Times reported that Trump had been contemplating a plan to replace Rosen with Clark, the inspector general announced that it would investigate whether any former or current department officials “engaged in an improper attempt” to overturn the results of the presidential election. https://apnews.com/article/trump-urged-j...72d4c739bd18a5d

I have little doubt that this was a primary reason Barr resigned. He saw the writing on the wall, figured the poop was going to hit the fan, and got out of Dodge, or Washington as the case may be.

As I have said before.
Sincerely. Thank you for your service.
That has nothing to do with where we are now.
trump has called Vietnam veterans suckers. How does that sit with you?
It also has nothing to do with getting bogus information about what trump did in office.
Nor does it have a thing to do with trump trying to overthrow the will of the people.
He lost the election. Over 70 court challenges proves it.
The courts decided. Now go and find how those 70 judges were corrupted under the rocks were your informations comes from.

Just check that site out for a minute and look at all of the BS they're spouting. One article says the vaccine may actually help spread covid. It would be a laugh a minute if someone wasn't actually trying to use it as a news source.

And some people believe those lies and see false conspiracies everywhere they look. LMAO...you and others fell for the Russian hoax...paid for by Hilary It wasn't a hoax,, it was a cover up by a republican Senate that allowed Trump to get away with it. They ignored the evidence presented by Mueller and his team. But hey, if you think hiding facts is the way to go, then it's no wonder you think it's a hoax....

United States Army Thanks for your service. I suppose then as a former military man you stand for the same rights for all Americans which are some of the things Trump hated. Such as kneeling during the national anthem? Because this is the oath you took when you joined the military.... I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the president of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed ... I mean since the constitution gives all Americans the right to peaceful protest, whether we agree with that protest or not, I would imagine you would honor that oath that you took, right?

This just in.......... Biden got 2 votes! The rest for Trump!........... Elections Expert Seth Keshel Releases National Fraud Numbers: Finds 8.1 Million Excess Votes in US Election, Affirms Trump Won PA, MI, WI, NV, AZ, GA and MN
Retired Army intelligence captain, elections data expert, and former baseball analyst Seth Keshel released his final national fraud numbers over the weekend.
Seth Keshel examined the final vote counts in all 50 states compared to the estimated numbers based on changing state dynamics and trends to come up with his estimated voter fraud in each state.
He published his results on his popular Telegram page.
Keshel confirms President Trump won: PA, MI, WI, NV, AZ, GA and MN.
And Keshel also believes cyber-flipping may have affected the results in NM, VA, NJ, and NH.
According to Keshel’s investigation there were conservatively 8,144,000 excess Joe Biden votes recorded in the 2020 election.https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/08...wi-nv-az-ga-mn/

I’m a premier vote counter. I was trusted to do it in junior high for our school elections for class president and such. So I’m pretty up on the subject. I counted the presidential votes this past November. trump got six votes. Five were in crayon… in his hand writing. All the other votes went to Biden.

And that's the problem. When shown facts you don't like or don't want to believe, you choose to simply not believe them. You didn't have a problem accepting that Trump, who called everyone names like a second grader, called for boycotts against any company or corporation that did or said anything he didn't like, cheated on all three of his wives, paid off a porn star, claimed Mexico would pay for the wall and a host of other lies got every vote they claimed.
Yet when a decent human being got more votes, you choose not to believe it. Things that make people go hmmmm...

Then it's a pity this information never made it into the 60-some lawsuits Trump and his lapdogs brought to courtrooms across the country.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Another wacko Jim Hoft. Gateway Pundit Founder.
Twitter permanently suspended Hoft's account on February 6, 2021, for repeatedly publishing misinformation about the 2020 U.S. presidential election.[25][26][27]
The Gateway Pundit is known as a source of viral falsehoods and hoaxes.[9][36][37] It has been described by the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology as one of the websites that "primarily propagate fake news",[11] by Newsweek as a fake news website,[38] and by CNN as a website "prone to peddling conspiracy theories".[39] In August 2019, journalism professors Erik P. Bucy and John E. Newhagen observed that "The most aggressive fake news sites and associated YouTube channels, such as InfoWars, The Gateway Pundit, and The Daily Stormer, are routinely sued by victims of these published reports for libel and defamation."[10] As a result of a number of lawsuits against The Gateway Pundit over its false stories, it was reported in March 2018 that Jim Hoft had told his writers to be more careful: "I don't want any more lawsuits so we have to be really careful with what we put up."[40] Hoft stated that he believes the lawsuits "are part of a multi-pronged effort to attack media outlets on the right."[40]
In 2019, The Gateway Pundit, along with One America News Network and The Daily Caller, were deprecated by the Wikipedia community for publishing false information relating to American politics.[41]
Another BS source of quackery.
In other news it has been proven that trump is really bigfoot.
His DNA has been analyzed by experts and the findings were expected. trump was quoted as saying "my DNA is the oldest DNA ever recorded."
trump is opening a new Plaza along with co founder George of the Jungle.
The new Plaza will be called "Bigfoot of the Jungle."

If the topics were not so serious these sites posted by SB would be hilarious.
Like National Enquirer. You know the headlines.
"Lizard boy has alien DNA."
But claiming trump won the election after it was laughed out of over 70 courts is not really funny.
Neither is false statements about a vaccine that saves lives funny.
It demostrates a level of ignorance that can be dangerous. Because it is spread to others that look to believe dumpster news.
These people that run these sites know how to prey on weak minds. They hook people into nonsense and let them spread it to others.
They know how many they need to make money. Once they are clicked on it is like a drug.
Look at the crap SB has posted.
Think about how the parents of the Sandy Hook school feel about those like Alex Jones.
I can not imagine how much this trash hurt them.

You are completely missing the point on those supplements because they DO WORK! Alex Jones is secretly adding stool softener and it helps in clearing the minds of Trumpians. Yep, what was once a constipated mess of bad ideas and life views all gets flushed away to become an echo chamber for Trumpian blah blah blah.

Business Insider Federal judge sanctions lawyers who brought conspiracy theory-filled lawsuit trying to overturn the 2020 election, reap $160 billion in damages Jacob Shamsian Wed, August 4, 2021, 12:25 PM·4 min read A federal judge in Colorado sanctioned two lawyers who challenged the 2020 election results. He called their claims "fantastical" and "the stuff of which violent insurrections are made." The lawyers had asked for $160 billion in damages because Joe Biden won the presidential election. A federal judge in Colorado has sanctioned attorneys who brought a lawsuit that challenged the results of the 2020 presidential election and sought $160 billion in damages, calling their conspiratorial claims "the stuff of which violent insurrections are made." The Wednesday ruling from US Magistrate Judge N. Reid Neureiter concludes that the lawsuit "was filed in bad faith" and orders the attorneys, Ernest J. Walker and Gary D. Fielder, to pay the opposing lawyers' expenses and fees. The order does not bar them from practicing law. "This lawsuit was filed with a woeful lack of investigation into the law and (under the circumstances) the facts," Neureiter wrote. "The lawsuit put into or repeated into the public record highly inflammatory and damaging allegations that could have put individuals' safety in danger. Doing so without a valid legal basis or serious independent personal investigation into the facts was the height of recklessness." The lawsuit was first filed on December 22, more than a month after then-President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. Though it was filed in Colorado, the lawsuit named as defendants the governors and secretaries of state for swing states which Trump lost to now-President Joe Biden. The plaintiffs - a smattering of Trump supporters who said in declarations that they believed the election results were rigged, were upset their Facebook posts were deleted, and didn't want to get vaccinated against COVID-19 - also named Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, Priscilla Chan, and Dominion Voting Systems as defendants. Neureiter's ruling criticized the attorneys in scathing terms for purporting to "represent 160 million American registered voters," seeking to nullify "actions of multiple state legislatures, municipalities, and state courts," and then demand a "nominal amount of $1,000 per registered voter" in damages, which would amount to "a figure is greater than the annual GDP of Hungary." "In short, this was no slip-and-fall at the local grocery store," Neureiter wrote. "Albeit disorganized and fantastical, the Complaint's allegations are extraordinarily serious and, if accepted as true by large numbers of people, are the stuff of which violent insurrections are made." The lawyers' 'massive cut-and-paste job' recycled claims from other failed lawsuits The judge noted that sanctions were warranted because the attorneys did not bring the lawsuit based on the claims of the people they represented. "It must also be noted that this was not a client-driven lawsuit. As Plaintiffs' counsel, Mr. Fielder, conceded at the July 16 hearing, the lawsuit was his idea," Neureiter wrote. "Mr. Fielder and Mr. Walker were not relying on information from the named Plaintiffs to construct the suit or for any of the substantive factual allegations." Neureiter said Walker and Fielder acted improperly by failing to research any factual basis for their claims that the 2020 election results were rigged, and by bringing a claim in Colorado against state officials in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Wisconsin. Neureiter also criticized the lawyers' "massive cut-and-paste job." They recycled claims in their lawsuit from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Trump-affiliated lawyer Sidney Powell, both of whom failed in their own lawsuits challenging the election results. The lawyers recycled claims from Sidney Powell, who led several failed lawsuits seeking to overturn the election results. Associated Press The judge also criticized them for uncritically including a false Trump tweet about "Dominion deleting 2.7 million trump votes nationwide." Neureiter wrote that when asked in a hearing about including the claim, Fielder's only justification was that Trump was the president. "Under the circumstances of this case, with this election, with this insurrection, with the on-going threats to election officials and company employees, including in a federal filing as if it were true such an inflammatory and damaging allegation, without any attempt at verification, merely because the out-going President had said it, was reckless and did not represent a reasonable inquiry under the circumstances," Neureiter wrote. https://www.yahoo.com/news/federal-judge-sanctions-lawyers-brought-162535750.html

My guess is that Mike "My Pillow" Lindel will have something to say about this.

"Under the circumstances of this case, with this election, with this insurrection, with the on-going threats to election officials and company employees, including in a federal filing as if it were true such an inflammatory and damaging allegation, without any attempt at verification, merely because the out-going President had said it, was reckless and did not represent a reasonable inquiry under the circumstances," Neureiter wrote. https://www.yahoo.com/news/federal-judge-sanctions-lawyers-brought-162535750.html An obvious Obama appointee.

N. Reid Neureiter was appointed United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Colorado in August of 2018. https://lawweb.colorado.edu/profiles/profile.jsp?id=1028Trump was president when she was appointed. Another swing and a miss!
