For whatever reason, DA had a great year in 2007. Then, the following year, we saw Joe Jurevicious retire and it seemed like that was the end of DA. Without a crafty veteran who knew how to find openings in the D and move the chains, the guy was sunk.
There was probably more to it then that.....but, he was never the same.... I think it was more so Braylon and KWII making insane crazy stretched out diving catches, HUGE RAC etc. DA gave us an exciting year, that's for sure, but I think it was more on his surrounding cast playing out their minds then him. It was just one of those freak seasons that EVERYONE over produced. Don't forget JJ be the most reliable bail-out on 3rd & Long that this team has seen since the 80's. Jureviscius alone kept a ton of drives going, then Braylon & K2 would finish them off. Also we had a slightly unknown RB named Jamal Lewis that put up 1300 (4.4 avg) yards that season.

He and Baker will have the same problem this weekend. No one to throw it too. Because if you only have one viable target then you have none because he will covered like crazy.
You can't fix stupid but you can destroy ignorance. When you destroy ignorance you remove the justifications for evil. If you want to destroy evil then educate our people. Hate is a tool of the stupid to deal with what they can't understand.

I wish it had been last week, and I wish Watson had gone out due to injury, and I wish it would have been on Fox so that Brady Quinn could call a game between Derek Anderson and Brandon Weeden.

I do think that Shady will really like having him at QB ... He might be too thrilled to be on the receiving end of a DA fastball from 6-7 yards away. But seriously, I hope Derek does well. He was a lot of fun to watch in '07. I especially liked when he told the assembled media in Berea "you guys are on crack.".
