that's not my expectation. especially on a conservative dominated board.

100 million dollars in anti Trump money for ads hits this week as the PAC's and his own party try to shut him down.
If he can beat the Democrats, the Republican candidates and the Republican Establishment, all on the will of the people, he deserves the Presidency in my book.

he needs to worry about his own people first before worrying about democrats.
he needs to make sure to dominate the rest of the remaining states so that they don't go into a brokered convention.
then, he needs to worry about who his VP is gonna be. never mind the democrats, the GOP and conservative voter base period hasn't united around him yet.
if he can't unite his own party, he won't have a shot.

Sanders on Clinton’s Clooney fundraiser: ‘It is obscene’ https://www.yahoo.com/politics/bernie-clooney-hillary-clinton-171452613.htmlSanders calls Clinton’s use of people like Clooney “the problem with American politics.” (Elaine Thompson/Jeff Bottari/AP Images) Bernie Sanders likes George Clooney. But the Vermont senator says Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s use of the actor in a pair of high-priced fundraisers next month is nonetheless “obscene.” “It is obscene that Secretary Clinton keeps going to big-money people to fund her campaign,” Sanders said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday. Clinton is asking donors for $353,400 for two seats at the head table with herself, Clooney and his wife, Amal, at the April 15 event in San Francisco. The next night, the Clooneys will host a $33,400 per person fundraiser for Clinton at the couple’s Los Angeles home. “I have a lot of respect for George Clooney. He’s a great actor. I like him,” Sanders said. “But this is the problem with American politics … Big money is dominating our political system. And [my supporters and I] are trying to move as far away from that as we can.” Sanders, whose campaign has been largely funded by small donations, says his events usually cost “$15 or $50” to get into. “So it’s not a criticism of Clooney,” he said. “It’s a criticism of a corrupt campaign finance system, where big money interests — and it’s not Clooney, it’s the people coming to this event — have undue influence on the political process.” Throughout the Democratic primary, the self-described democratic socialist has attacked Clinton’s ties to Wall Street. He did so again Sunday. “It’s not only this Clooney event,” Sanders said. “It is the fact she has now raised well over $15 million from Wall Street for her super-PAC, and millions more from the fossil fuel industry, and from the drug companies.” Clinton’s Clooney swing comes less than two months before the crucial Democratic primary on June 7 in California, where 475 delegates are at stake. Sanders, who trails Clinton in the delegate count, believes he can make up the ground. "We think we do have a path to victory,” he said following his victories in Saturday’s Democratic caucuses in Alaska, Washington and Hawaii. “We’ve won the last five out of six contests, all of them in landslide victories.” “What we showed yesterday is in fact the momentum is with us,” Sanders said on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. “We think we’re going to do well in Wisconsin. We think we got a real shot in New York. And then we go out to California. You go out to Oregon. That’s the most progressive part of America. We think we’re going to do very well there.” Sanders also believes many of the so-called superdelegates who’ve pledged their support for Clinton will “rethink their position” and come around to him. “I think when they begin to look at the reality, and that is that we in poll after poll are beating Donald Trump by much larger margins than is Secretary Clinton,” Sanders said on CNN. “I think their people are going to say to them, look, why don’t you support the people of our state, vote Bernie Sanders.”

That is a real interesting question about who his VP would be. Christie was propping him a while back. Then Palin, but I can't stand her. I think she would only hurt him. So I would be real curious who the VP would be.

Swish, I too saw this article about Clinton's fundraiser. Not sure why she would do this given that her opponent, who is gaining much ground and has attracted many followers, has made it very clear this is one of the major things wrong with the US political machine.

Christie would be horrible. Palin would be worse.
Trump needs somebody who can gain supporters, not retreads.
Palin, Ryan, Romney, Christie, all losers. he would lose credibility slamming Romney and ryan for losing and then put a loser in Palin on the ticket.
At least Ben Carson had a decent base throughout the process. Christie never had anything more than what? 3 percent?

probably because since he's receiving money as well, Clinton isn't worried about it.
she still has a huge lead in delegates.

I agree with you. None of those are good choices. Which makes me wonder who he will pull out of the hat.

He needs an outsider.
so it's gonna be someone like Carson. Not saying carson is the pick, as he might not help Trump, but if he really wants to make some huge noise, it's gonna be somebody who isn't in politics. the GOP will hate trump even more for that, but in the general election, it will help Trump greatly.
Clinton most likely will either try to convice Bernie to be VP, or pick another congressmen or senator.
if Trump picks an outsider, then it's gonna be establishment VS anti-establishment.

i dunno if you said that in jest, since cuban is a Trump supporter.
but Cuban wouldn't do that at risk of alienating his players and fan base.

I think a lot of that depends on the convention and what happens there. The R's have to get a candidate first and that could be a major stumbling block.

Trump needs to look for 2 things in a VP candidate, a person who is somewhat level headed and doesn't say anything even beyond what Trump would say... and somebody who can help him carry just 1 state (presumably the state that person is from)... Because in the end, nobody votes for the vice president.
