I do not know if this is legal or not, but very sweet none the less.

OK. If you have a PS3, follow this:

1) In your PS3 internet browser type in www.viewthatonline.com
2) You will need to make an account (only takes like 2 minutes)
3) And for the downloadable movies, go to the 'Stage6 Films' forum.
4) Click on any movie you want for download.
5) Click the link the poster gives you to the Stage6 movie

Now the tricky, but best part part

Press Start for address entry, delete everything but the movie number.
Ex: 2097856

Then type:

http://video.stage6.com/MOVIE NUMBER/.divx

^ That needs to be typed exactly liked I did.

Then, the download screen for the PS3 SHOULD come up. If it doesn't, you didn't type the address right, or the video is no longer hosted.

Then click Perform in Background. Download takes about 1-2 hours, and walla!!!

What movies do they have? Anything and everything? New releases? And have you tried the movie and it worked ok?

They got alot of good stuff. Mainly newer movies, but they have other forums to. Stage6 is the only way to download them though.

I downloaded American Gangster and Batman Begins, they both worked flawless.

Interesting.... How good is the picture quality on this? Is it of the quality of the PS3?

Also, do you know how much space it a movie takes up? Have you had any problems with you PS3 since you first downloaded?

Downloading 'The Kingdown' right now. So far, so good. Thanks for the tip! How'd you find out about that, especially the goofy part about clicking the link, then editing the address?

When I clicked on the info on the movie, the resolution was 288x128. Which isn't great, but it's not terrible. It's like watching cable TV on an HDTV. You can see the flaws where it's not real sharp, but it's not terrible.

I did something last year that was pretty cool, probably not very much on the legal aspect of things though.

I download the Friday the 13th series and Star Wars series, converted them into MPEG-4AC for ps3 hardware and bam! they worked. I could not believe it, took awhile but it was well worth it...

I also remember that the site I did it from is now closed down or has somekind of lawsuit against it.

Just a heads up that they do have Cloverfield up..

Where'd the good movies go? Went on and there was mostly old stuff or dumb movies. Last time there was some good movies there.
